| Meet Miss Kris, she's a high school sports coach and bombshell beauty. Temps dropped below 50 and called for shooting indoors. Besides, Ray mounted a new bracket for seamless paper on the wall and I was eager to experiment. Thanks Ray! He happily volunteered to be the waterboy. Lucky duck. Kris arrived looking very blonde and very excited to show off her muscles. I love shooting with athletes, they have great energy! She had lots of creative ideas and much to contribute.

It took a little convincing to get her to jam all that hair in a cap. We're both swimmers. She totally did me a favor on this one because not many people would ruin their perfectly styled locks so the photographer can get their kicks. How cool is that?
|

I like catching people in transition.

| Kris is allowing me to stand next to her, even with my ugly hair cut. She was very nice. To have this butch haircut is nothing short of embarrassment. I've been wearing a hat for about 2 weeks. It sux. This one's gonna take a while. Thanks hairstylist. Thanks a lot, for that one.

Waterboy in action. Think he enjoyed it?

Working on a portfolio of non-traditional family photos, I wanted a Miami Ink feel to this background...what do you think? Did we achieve?
Megan & Travis brought their little one by for his 3 month cameo. Meet Carter Pennington. I love his chubby little buns!

Bear with me, I'm cacthing up on blog posts after a busy week! Gearing up for the holidays, many boudoir sessions are booking solid through December. One Portland damsel allowed me to share a few highlights from her Tacoma Boudoir Session. Thank you Miss Heather. You're stunning as you are sweet.
She told me that initially she felt anxious, but quickly found her confidence. Heather followed all of the suggestions on what to bring for a shoot. I was delighted with the turnout! She will be the first to receive the all NEW red funky leather boudoir album!
On a technical note, Instead of using traditional softboxes, a Beauty Dish stole the show. Love the contrast it cranks out! The password is PDX.

enjoying the fall leaves |

I hope everyone's have the chance to absorb fall's gorgeous scenery. We are! Sooner than later, the leaves will be rustling under our feet instead of on the trees. So, take advantage while you can. With that said, I'll leave you with a quote from Albert Camus: "Autumn is a second spring where every leaf is a flower."
More blog posts coming soon after this brief interuption of service.
