| Here's a sight for sore eyes. You're looking at a spread from Carina and Stren's wedding on Lopez Island. It is a mammoth book, sized at 11x14 inches. Nearly finished with the layout, can't wait to see it in print!

August 1st, 2009 at Lord Hill Farms, Kaila and Tyler enjoyed a hot summer day while saying I DO. Matt Grossman rocked this wedding with me as my second shooter. Its a place I've shot several times, so I challenge myself to hunt for new inspiration. Hard light used to give me cold sweats, but if its all you have, harness it and ride. The farms are known for shadeless scenery, alhtough, with a great crowd and lovely couple, i burned through more cards that I'd like to admit. I loved the shadowy lighitng inside the bridal suite and enjoyed being a fly on the wall for the better part of their day.

| There was a gorgeous light reflected off the siding, her eyes look so piercing and sweet.

| As the guests arrived Matt and I fluttered about capturing the brown and blue details. Snohomish is hilly and scenic and you can see all the way to the mountains on a clear day.

Kids are funny. They were supposed to walk down the isle together, but the little guy was amused by his feet.

Kaila and Tyler got hitched 08.01.09. at the lovely Lord Hill Farms in Snohomish. This is a happy bride. Taken at the close of her wedding day, she's all smiles.

Still swimming in photos for at least another two weeks. I just returned from San Diego yesterday, it was a lovely wedding on Halloween! Black linens, deep red cake, lace black bolero, you get the idea. It was definately a unique event, something I've never seen before! I hope you'll enjoy these detail shots from a few of my summer/fall weddings. I'm anxious to get all of my recent boudoirs, engagements, and tons of other stuff up here too. There is so much going on in my life these days, it seems there are not enough hours in the day. I'm thankful for a busy calendar and can't wait to display new work.
