Stylist: Alvin Stillwell
Makeup: Linsdey Watkins
Model:  Andy Altig SMG
Studio Guest: Randy Altig

For this fashion collaboration in March, we pooled ultra cool talent! Our first time working creatively as a group and under a time crunch rolled out like a pound of bacon.   Alvin sniffed out the season's best textures, prints and threads, Andy rocked the house as a new model for SMG. Linsdey with her rad white hair, is a can of peaches and cream. We had a celeb on board, too! You should check out Randy Altig (Andy's uncle) from Maximum Living. He's referred to as the Martha Stewart of Seattle. All shots photographed at my studio in Tacoma.

Another featured wedding with Style Unveiled! I can't get over the great response to Mellicia & Justin's wedding! I'm so jazzed Seattle Style selected it for a feature among other awesome weddings. If you're a bride looking for the fresh and delicious resources, check out  www.seattlestyle.com

As their first wedding anniversary approaches, I wish we could repeat the day all over again. Thanks to Kelly Chandler for 2nd shooting and to my fabulous husband Ray, who is funny as he is talented. He came out of retirement to shoot this wedding with me last year. Having 3 shooters at this wedding gave us plenty of hands and eyes to work with. I guesstimate for every 80 guests there should be 1 photographer.

For photographers who are on the fence about linking up with Seatte Style, you heard it here first, get on board with Seattle Style NOW! They are the most well received, classy  and sophisticated wedding resource in the city and they're taking other cities by storm! They've already added Portland, LA, and have no plans to stop there. Talk to Heather Sharpe and tell her I sent you. All this wedding excitement gets me wound up tighter than a wad of chewed gum, for the season to begin. Check out the full script on their Union Station Wedding.

If home has become a four letter word, head over to the local shelter and get yourself a companion! Recently we adopted a beautiful boxer dog and we're officially fans of animal adoptions. More on our new doggie later!

Over the last couple of months I've had a blast working with the Seattle Humane Society. By taking pictures of their cats, it speeds up adoption time and supports their cause. We're all busy bees with little time to spare, but it feels good to give back to the community. I had reservations about the shelter initially. Common misconception told me such an organization would be an animal prison of sad faces. Hardly the case. Cats graze and nap, the sick are cared for, the lonely are showered with TLC.  Their dedication to getting animals fixed, wow!  If only we could implicate that on people like the Octo-mom.  I'm amazed at the beautiful faces that come and go in the cat department. There are hundreds of ways for you to donate your skills! Instead of supporting a local pet store or puppy mill, adopt a pet or just be their friend for a day! These whiskered faces await you.

While browsing the lost and found ads on craigslist, I found this. The days of safe handling such slow-moving, extra large animals are over. Milk producers are wising up.

Found cow (centralia)
